“Love II”

Statement

Love is a fundamental necessity of human existence. Beyond survival, it is what allows us to live fully, to thrive emotionally, and to connect meaningfully with one another.

It cannot be confined to a single definition—love is a spectrum of feelings, emotions, and attitudes. For some, it extends beyond physical attraction, becoming an enduring emotional bond. For others, it

is an act of care, devotion, or presence.

At its essence, love is commitment and connection: the profound attachment to someone, or even something, that shapes our lives. It is more than liking—it is belonging, resonance, and the invisible

thread that ties human beings together.

Love II embodies this universal truth in material form. The handwoven red textile—bold, vibrant, and warm—wraps the wooden structure, evoking both

protection and intimacy. The word LOVE, stitched in white, becomes both a declaration and an offering: a

reminder that love, though intangible, is the most vital support on which we rest.
