“Repair does not mean returning something to its original form, but accompanying its transformation; what was once abandoned blooms- not as an ornament, but as a delicate form of resistance”

“White Flowers"

Statement

“White Flowers”, a small vintage chair, is transformed into a suspended textile presence—a fragile body where structure begins to yield to a quiet form of growth. Through slow gestures of wrapping, knotting, and weaving—as if drawing with threads—the piece becomes covered with organic forms that evoke flowers, roots, skin, and living matter.

The threads descending from the chair extend its body beyond the object, like traces of something that remains: suspended memories, invisible roots, gestures of care continuing through space. The chair is no longer a functional object, but an intimate architecture sustained by tension, accumulation, and time.

White, present throughout the work, functions as both silence and breath. It does not erase the history of the object; it covers it with a new skin, allowing its marks, absences, and imperfections to exist in another way.
